— CECTRRA MottoThe Centre for Critical Thinking and Resourceful Research in Africa (CECTRRA) was born out of the desire to close the gap between creative thinking and gullible theories that pervade the African society. We are dedicated to advancing African self-understanding through valid, resourceful and relevant knowledge.
Our work spans research, publications, conferences, seminars, training and consultancy in the humanities, social sciences and related fields.
To provide a scholarly platform for a more devoted attention to critical thinking in a resourceful approach and to cause for influential knowledge production for a more advanced society.

Founder of CECTRRA, Professor Ugwuanyi is a scholar of Philosophy with over three decades of university teaching, research, and governance in African Philosophy, African Modernity, Afro-Theorism, and Environmental Philosophy.
