About the Conference

The 2nd Outstanding African Thinkers Conference was organized by the Centre for Critical Thinking and Resourceful Research in Africa (CECTRRA) in collaboration with the University of Abomey Calavi-Cotonou and African Heritage Association, held at the University of Abomey Calavi Cotonou, Republic of Benin, June 13–15, 2022. The conference provided a platform for critical engagement on contemporary challenges facing Africa, bringing together leading thinkers and scholars to interrogate assumptions, generate knowledge, and propose ethical and transformative solutions for Africa's development.
